"Exhausted," he admits, almost surprised to find it's true. Most of the time, he hadn't let himself feel tired or pain or... well, most things, truly. In Darrow, he's tried to keep up the same sort of behaviour in many ways, but right now he can't.

He trusts Luther. It comes as a bit of a surprise, but he does. It's why he's here at all, letting himself be taken care of, admitting he's tired.

"I'm sure I stink horribly," he says. "I'll have to shower before we sleep, but... may I stay here?"
